Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze Review

Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze TechnologyAccording to a press release by Tempurpedic, Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze was introduced on July 30, 2012.

The development of a cooler sleeping material no doubt serves to address the most notorious consumer complaint that has plagued Tempurpedic, the memory foam material trapping heat and creating serious discomfort throughout the night. It’s somewhat surprising the company has chosen to address the heat retention issue after numerous years of generally disregarding it. Reputable memory foam mattress brands have been looking into the issue for years.

Tempurpedic Models Carrying Tempur-Breeze Technology

One of the first beds to carry the new Tempur-Breeze technology is the popular Tempur-Cloud Supreme. It’s billed to carry all the same comfort features one would come to expect from this model with the addition of the new technology, “addressing the unmet needs of those who feel they naturally sleep warm,” as stated by Tempurpedic. As expected, the warranty will follow all the same terms & conditions as previous versions of the bed.

The Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze Technology Composition

There’s virtually no information available in terms of the varied composition of the Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze. Direct explanations from Tempurpedic are thus far vague at best. What we do now is the company is advertising the Breeze technology to produce a cooling touch, better regulate body heat to a more desirable temperature and channel excessive heat away from the body. It will certainly be interesting to see if consumers agree, Tempurpedic having received disappointing marks in all the aforementioned categories in years past.

Until we manage to get the Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze in the hands of our reviewers we’ll have to go by what limited information has been made available by the manufacturer. While it’s a good thing the company is taking steps toward addressing their heat retention issues, we’re looking at the effectiveness with a critical eye considering the longstanding complaint against Tempurpedic beds.

As noted in our previous Breeze review, we received early reports that indicate the only difference between Breeze Technology and original Tempurpedic models is the mattress cover. This information has undoubtedly created some intensive speculation amongst reviewers, questioning whether a mattress cover can truly resolve issues of overheating. If you’ve steered away from Tempurpedic for heat issues in the past, Breeze Technology might not convert your opinion.

Tempur-Cloud Supreme Breeze Technology Pricing

It should be noted the Breeze technology boasts the same hefty price tags as its predecessors. With not much evidence to go on until verified reviews are available, we believe the best investment is an already established line of mattresses that features natural cooling abilities. If you’re currently in the mattress market, try Amerisleep, a brand that packs similar cooling features¬† to the Tempur-Breeze Technology with many existing reviews.

I purchased a tempur cloud supreme breeze on 11/7/14 and there is still an odor that comes from the mattress. Have you had any complaints about the odors?

They began right away and the mattress dealer told me to give it some time but I’m concerned that the smell will not go away with time.

Thanks for any information that you can share.

The Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme Breeze is still very hot. We’re going back to our Amerisleep Liberty. Sleeps much cooler and equally comfortable.
